Changes

During the Carnival week I had no lectures and so I had much time to train, to rest and to spend some to be with the family and friends.

This week, routine has started again and with Uni I have less free time.

My first race in competitive Duathlon/Triathlon changed and now that will be in Cadaval - The Duathlon Age-Group National Championships (14th of March)

Instead of Arronches Duathlon, next Sunday I will test myself in a 10km road race in Costa da Caparica (GP. Atlantico) so this is a week with less volume but with lots of intensity and reps.

Finally, my ZeroD suit will arrive this week (I will post a pic of it soon).

This is internet!

Twitter is a free social networking and microblogging service that enables its users to send and read messages known as tweets.

But now imagine a Japanese Astronaut (Soichi) sending tweets from the International Space Station sending his thoughts about the travel and his pics of the most amazing places on Earth like the Kilamanjaro, the Amazon River and other ones including Port-au-Prince in Haiti.

This is Soichi's twitter page: http://twitter.com/Astro_Soichi

Recent

- Uni has just started again.

- I'm in base 3 phase in training so it means another week to push - workouts with strength and speed.

- I'm getting fit and thin but a bit tired.

My first race will be a duathlon (run+bike+run) in Arronches - a small town that borders Spain - on the 27th of February

Soon I'll post my complete race schedule. I'll leave to the gym.

Cervelo Team in Portugal

The Cervélo TestTeam ( the leader is Carlos Sastre - Tour de France 2008 winner) are now on a training camp. They ride together on the Portuguese Algarve.
Riders, media, sponsors and guests are located in the Robinson Club Quinta da Ria golf resort in Vila Nova de Cacela.

Cervelo Team:

I'm saying this because the place were they are now on this training camp (Vila Nova de Cacela) is beautiful. I lived great moments in my life there during the holidays. The food, the beach, the river, everything there is just amazing!

Look at these pictures, isn't it so beautiful?
