What were the good news?

Remember when I said in blog that something new was going to happen in my life?

After finishing all my Uni exams (finally!), I am off to Coimbra for a month. I will be in an internship in CSE - Centre for Social Studies and I will take part of a research project.

This will be the last part of my Undergraduation in Economics and the internship will be like a course in a different place. All my stuff (including bike - I have to get a bike bag for the train!) will go with me to Coimbra.
So this will be like a new thing in my life living for more than 2 weeks outside my parents house. I am used to live in new places (3 years in Belgium) but without my family it will be different. And of course I will miss my mom's and grandma food!

Concerning triathlon, I was missing competition so this saturday I will race in Zêzere Triathlon, in one week Fonte da Telha open water event (1500m) and then in 2 weeks time Aveiro Olympic Triathlon!

These days, I have been watching the World Cup and I was a bit sad about Portugal but the matches ahead will be great including the Germany-Argentina and the Netherlands-Brazil.

The oil is damaging the most beautiful area in the USA but there is no solution for this huge problem!

Promise?

After 150 posts, this is a secret that I want to tell you.

Team Garmin was the first cycling team to do this.

I was testing myself for about 3 months. And after beating bread cravings and with some method I am capable of doing this diet.
I am feeling so much better, recovery is so different and I am sleeping so well.

This is the diet: http://www.mensjournal.com/winning-without-wheat

And if you want to now more about gluten here it is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gluten

Incredible!

I think it's like a bomb from hell, what is now happening in the USA. It's from years after years taking the most out of mother Nature!

What's up?

Oeiras Sprint triathlon was my 3rd sprint distance tri this year.

It was my first time there but the race was not what I expected.

Last Sunday was an excellent day to do a triathlon: nice weather, lots of people racing (400!) and the course is fast.

But I got lost on the swim, felt unconfortable on the bike (I have to do a bike fit urgently!) and suffered during the run - mistakes are only good when we get something with them and I have already learned with those mistakes!

Now it's time to study for my last 2 exams! (And to train and watch the World Cup!)

Oeiras Sprint Triathlon

I'm feeling good and relaxed, watching the Football World Cup.

Tomorrow I'll race in Oeiras my first time in this stage of the Portuguese Triathlon Cup. It is a Sprint Triathlon (a little one for me: 750m/20k/5km).

This race will have 400 people on the start line so let's expect that everybody will have good time tomorrow.
